Japan Winter Fashion and Trends

Japan is a country with 4 seasons : Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter. At the end of the year, Japan is getting a winter season, and the fashion will change following the winter fashion and trend. Don't ever think Japanese will wear a thick and long short during the winter. The funny thing about Japan is that the short short skirts and shorts don’t come out in summer like you would expect. No, they come out in the winter.

Short Skirts is usually combined with Down Boots. Down Boots is popular today for Japanese girls. The boots are made of the same material of the very known down jacket. Second the users the lightnessof the material and the variety of colors is what make then chose those type of boots, in Japan every teenager wants to be Kawaii and yes they look really cute in their fashion.

Confuse about choosing the right outfits to wear during winter withoug ignoring the sense of fashion ? Women can enjoy the fresh winter fashion trends for 2010 by checking out her closet and looking for old key pieces that is still very “in” today. One of the fashion tips women should learn is that, they can still use staple winter fashion clothing they used the previous year. This allows them to just mix and match with the new clothes they will buy.

The most important thing to wear during winter are stylish cardigan, a coat and a jacket. Choose a long coat or jacket since this will cover your whole upper body and will keep you warmer. For those long walks, remember to wear a hat, scarf and gloves. Scarves are such the perfect accent to your look if you choose a contrasting color. For example, you can wear a black coat, dark trousers and pair it up with a yellow scarf. Winter fashion need not be dull. Spice it up with a little color and you’re ready to go!

Because some places are snowy and very cold, you need winter boots to protect your foot. You can go for heeled boots as long as you are not walking through a road full of snow. Do not waste your signature boots. Keep a snow boots handy just in case you will need them. You should also protect yourself from the numbing coldness of the winter by wearing thermal clothing underneath specially when you’re out and about.

Mehndi Body Art Tattoos

Mehndi - also called henna tattoos - is a type of body art that gained popularity in the West during the 1990s. The name henna tattoos is a little misleading as this type of body art tattoo is not permanently inked into the skin as it is done with the traditional type of tattoo, but is a temporary form of body art that done using a dye that is derived from the henna plant which is native to the desert regions of the Middle East, Africa, and India.

While Mehndi body art has been traditionally used for special occasions such as festivals and weddings, many individuals are now creating their own unique style of body art tattoos that represent various things such as their religion, a significant event in their lives, or various other types of symbolism.

Mehndi tattoos can also be applied by a professional who specializes in the art of Mehndi tattooing; however, many individuals have learned how to apply their own tattoos with their very own creative designs. Traditional Mehndi designs include geometrical shapes, floral patterns, and intricate designs created out of fine lines and are typically tattooed on the hands or feet, however, any type of design can be created and applied anywhere on the body.

Body Art Tattoos

Body Art Tattoos are catching on like a new fad among younger people today. Celebrities, Rock Stars, and Sports heroes are sporting more visible Tattoos now than any other cultural icon save the Military. Changing your personal body image with Piercings and Tattoos has become so commonplace as to loose the social stigma that had once been placed upon such body art by society. No longer seen to be a negative image only found on sailors and natives of third world countries.

A quality Tattoo Finder can mean the difference between seeing boat loads of generic, cookie cutter designs and seeing fresh, high quality, unique Tattoo Designs. I have witnessed many people sift through cookie cutter designs so numerous as to be the only wallpaper in a studio. Poster displays hanging from every wall showing the same images found in every other studio with a few personal designs from the Tattooist mixed in to show variety. Changing your body image with a Body Art Tattoo should be a unique and personal experience to be thought out over the course of a few weeks to months. A Body Art Tattoo may well be with your body 5000 years from now and should reflect who you are and not just "I'll take that one".

Body Art Tattoos are much more than just a way to rebel against society, your family or whomever you you feel is oppressing you. Body Art Tattoos should be something that people meticulously plan for not simply rushed into.

Body With a Sexy Tattoo Design

Full Body With a Sexy Tattoo DesignTattoos, which are largely popular today can be an accessory to spice up one's looks. Women, in particular, are often closely associated with sexy tattoo designs. These designs are tattooed in various parts of the body - some exposed to the public eye while other sexy tat designs are tattooed discreetly in parts that remain shielded from the prying eyes.

The options are aplenty where sexy tat designs are concerned. Still, the crop of women tend to largely associate tat designs that are colored with sexiness. For instance, a large rose tattoo with bright red colors on its petals, green for its leaves and brown/black for its stem/thorns is widely regarded as sexy. Having mentioned that, where sexy tattoo designs are concerned, many have the notion that apart from the designs in itself, the placement of these tattoos in itself are equally important.

As we mentioned earlier, sexy tattoos that are tattooed on different parts of the body will give out different messages or different levels of sexiness for that matter. As an example, women who choose to get tattoos on their breast and chest are are said to be romantic. On the other hand, tattoos that are done on the more intimate areas of the woman's body such as the inner thigh is said to ooze high in the level of sexiness. The reason for this is, as we mentioned early in the article, rarely seen by most people other than those that have c close, intimate and sexy relationship.

What this means is the issue of sexy tat designs is largely debatable and one that largely depends on the individual getting the tattoo. It comes down to the choice of whether the bearer intends the sexy tat design to be appreciated by the public or reserved for a special someone.

In addition, as sexy tat designs becomes increasingly popular and complement a host of different popular fashion, style and trends, more women are getting these tattoos to go with their hair, top, handbag and other fashionable accessories. With that in mind, an experience tattoo artist will be able to give suggestions and recommendations regarding the perfect sexy tattoo designs to obtain in order to complement a specific fashion, style or/and trend that is currently hot.

The above is only a guide for you to get your sexy tattoo designs that would suit you most. Getting the perfect sexy tattoo design will accentuate your body features and can make you look sexier than you would otherwise be without them.

How to Choose an Arm Tattoo

How to Choose an Arm TattooTattoos have been becoming increasingly popular over the last few decades. The idea of getting a tattoo was not obsolete before that time, it was just geared more towards the male population. Now it seems a great percentage of individuals at one point in their life or another have considered the possibility of getting a tattoo. That percentage includes a decent amount of men, but also a decent amount of women too. Of course you can get a tattoo pretty much anywhere on the body that you would like. Even in some places that are both private and unmentionable. One of the most popular places to get a tattoo is and will most likely always be on the arm. Arm tattoos have been gotten by both men and women, and in a variety of styles and variations. If you are interested in getting an arm tattoo, these helpful suggestions may make the process a bit easier.

Before heading into a local tattoo parlor, it is imperative to get some sort of idea what you would like your arm tattoo to look like. Check out magazines for ideas. If you are artistic than make a sketch, take a photograph, bring a photograph with you, look at other tattoos, just to be able to narrow down your ideas. If you enter a tattoo shop and see hundreds of designs which usually encompass the walls and you don't have an idea, you will probably become totally overwhelmed. This may result in you possibly getting an arm tattoo that you don't particular like. It is always the best idea to enter a tattoo shop with a particular idea in mind. The tattoo artist can then work with you to possibly add or make changes to your idea so you will have your dream tattoo. Don't hesitate to do a little research online too. There are websites that show different tattoos and how they look after they were completed. Often you can get a glimpse of how a tattoo may look on your arm after seeing it on someone else's arm first. A tattoo is permanent, so take this decision seriously.

Another factor when getting a new arm tattoo, is the shop and the tattoo artists. Most tattoo shops have a few artists available, and they all have different degrees of experience. Some do more portraits, others abstracts, and others may be just apprentices. Before the first prick of the needle hits your arm, make sure that you ask questions. You want to know how long someone has been tattooing, what their specialty is, and even request to see pictures of prior work. Don't allow them to lead you in a room where everyone's tattoo work is displayed. You want to see work that they did, not the entire shop. If the answers to the questions and the photographs of the prior work do not look up to your standards, ask for someone else. Not only are arm tattoos not inexpensive, but they are as stated above permanent.

Getting a tattoo on your arm or anywhere on your body is a commitment. This is something that must be taken extremely seriously and maturely. Too many individuals are walking around with tattoos that they regret. It doesn't have to be that way. If you do a bit of due diligence, your tattoo does not have to be classified as a regret. It is something that can be shown proudly, and is a piece of you. Many times a tattoo is completed, others who are close to you look at the design and know exactly why you chose it. This is when you know you made the right decision. Do your research. Decide what you want your arm tattoo to signify, and find the perfect artist to do it for you. After it is done, you will never regret your reasons why you did it, or what it means. You'll absolutely love it.

Simple Beauty of the Jesus Cross Tattoo

Simple Beauty of the Jesus Cross Tattoo The simplistic beauty of the Jesus cross tattoo is why it is so popular among diverse groups of people. It is not the strictly devout Christians who always request the Jesus cross tattoo, it is represented across all lines of ink lovers everywhere. The Jesus cross tattoo is a beautiful symbol of the faith in the belief that Jesus was crucified and was victorious over physical death, and spiritual death.

There are many variations of the traditional Latin theme of these tattoos; one is the depiction of the cross with the body of Christ. Another is an empty wooden cross, showing the resurrection. While the traditional empty cross tattoo can be embellished with a draped cloth over the cross beams, usually purple in color to represent the Royal Line of David, it is more often seen with a draped crown of thorns, and bent nails. These crosses are traditionally done with black ink, except when the purple drape is included.

People from the British Isles, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland combine their Celtic culture with the tattoo of cross symbolism, and use it as a means to elaborate on the Celtic theme. With their addition of swirls, geometric patterns, and even faeries featuring bright colors of the forest; these Jesus cross tats can add beauty to a bare cross inked image.

The Jesus cross tattoo is also appearing on tattoo lovers as a way to memorialize a deceased family member or friend. The traditional cross will have dates, and names added, as well as depictions of wreaths and flowers. This is a very fine way to remember someone always, and never forget their love or their life.
Military men and women are also using their version of the Jesus cross tats to relember lost compatriots, with a cross tat with hanging dog-tags draped over the crossbeam. The perfect, classic way to always remember a fallen ones sacrifice.

While the styles and preferences for Jesus with cross tats change over the years, the application of them remains a constant among tattoo lovers, and they are a favorite of tattoo artist. The simple beauty of a cross tats allows for intricate details to be added. An artist gets to add his own flair to any tattoo, and when he is asked to design a this kind of tattoo for a special remembrances event, he or she pulls out all the stops to deliver the best Jesus cross tattoo they can.

Tattoo Art Gallery

more tattoo picturesIf you are very interested in getting a tattoo, then please, Please, PLEASE shop around! Every tattoo artist has his or her own personal tattoo art gallery in the form of pictures that they have take of their past tattoo designs. Nowadays, many tattoo artists have actually taken art classes, and are very good at what they do. I personally had a tattooist who had recently graduated from The Art Institute of Chicago. His artwork, on paper as well as on skin, was phenomenal! I have heard that this artist moved to Tijuana, and opened an excellent tattoo studio. Of all places, he is probably kept busy by the many eighteen-year-old party teens - newly graduated and looking to enhance their party experiences!

Not all tattoo artists are going to have the credentials that mine had, but that should not stop you from looking at others. There are many self-taught, talented tattoo artists - you just need to shop around for them. Oh, a quick word to the wise: Tattoo artists generally will NOT work on a person if he or she is drunk. (Even though many weird tattoo stories seem to start with, "Well, I was drunk one night, and I . . .") Some inexperienced people may believe that dulling the senses with alcohol will help the tattooing procedure less painful. However, alcohol thins the blood, making you bleed more while the artist is working. Yes, he or she is poking you with a needle, so, yes -- you will bleed!

Some bleeding is normal, however, bleeding a lot (like when drunk) can potentially hide the tattoo as it is being worked. Therefore, you may end up with a tattoo that does not meet good quality standards, simply because your bleeding distorted the tattooist's view! (Yes, it would be YOUR fault - not the tattooist!) as far as adventurous tattoos go, I happened to come across one such tattoo at a motorcycle rally in Kankakee, IL. One of the many shirtless, tattooed men had come up to have a conversation with my stepfather. I happened to look at the man's chest, and found a very unusual tattoo. On his left upper chest area, there was a tattoo of a very voluptuous woman "riding" on the back of a serpent.

One of her breasts were tattooed around the man's nipple, thereby making it look like both he and the girl shared that particular body part. He had accented it, by piercing his "shared" nipple! It was funny, inventive, and made you smile. At the very least, it was one of the most memorable and intriguing tattoos I had seen in my lifetime! Just as you would want to find a doctor to suit your ills; a chiropractor to take care of your aches and pains; or even a dentist to take care of those cavities -- so should you find a suitably experienced tattooist! Some actually have more experience with one style of tattoo or another, so finding the one that will do the best job, will make you feel better about you tattoo in the end

Get Your Tour De France Tattoo Today

race race tattoo sexyDoes anyone know if Lance Armstrong has a tattoo of the Tour de France? I personally have not met Lance, but I have met people who have and they say he is one strong individual and a downright honorable gentleman. A strong-willed individual with that level of strength of character could get a tattoo for the race that has defined their life, and is very much about who he is. No one could criticize that.

If you identify with strong-willed people, who never give up perhaps you should get a Tour de France tattoo too. Not long ago, I was in a bicycle shop getting a tune-up on my carbon fiber touring bike and I saw someone with a Tour de France tattoo. I asked him if he had ever ridden in the Tour and he said no he was not good enough, but he loved riding his bicycle and he said that it has kept them in shape and healthy as whole life and rides every day getting his inspiration from Lance Armstrong.

He told me that he had once gone to the Tour-de-France-route and watched the riders ride by. He said it was one of the highlights of his life, and made his vacation trip to Europe worthy of the cost. And he told me that to this day he watches the whole thing on TV back in the United States, every year. I told him that I did too, so he invited me over to watch it the next day with he and his wife, and we got on the subject of tattoos.

Many people who are sports enthusiasts buy tattoos, which signify their favorite events. I can think of probably no better mark to get on your body than one that signifies a race of perseverance, strength of character, and the ultimate in human endurance. Can you? Please consider all this.

Exploring The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

The corrupt modern Sweden gets an honest portrait from the journalist Stieg Larsson, in the form of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The characters of his trilogy are unconventional to say the least, and the basic themes around which the series revolves are control, abuse and revenge (going on between different players).

Expert on Right Wing Extremism

One thing is for sure, Stieg Larsson wants to make sure we know everything about the central characters. Stieg Larsson was one of the leading experts on right wing extremism throughout the world and he went on to become the editor in chief of the magazine Expo (its mission was to expose the right wing extremism). He also worked as a consultant for Scotland Yard, which means he was just the right person to write the Millennium trilogy.

A Society Built With Characters

The book is replete with numerous characters, and there is quite a society built within the books. The social structure is pretty much evident through the way Lisbeth Salander is hired by Henrik Vanger (you'll come to know about the complicated route when you actually read the book). Stieg Larsson believes this is how the world actually works and Larsson makes sure this is an integral part of his social commentary.

It's a Personal Quest for Blomkvist, Too

The event when Blomkvist was jailed due to the charges brought by the corrupt Wennerstrom and his (Blomkvist's) quest for revenge is central part of the theme, which runs throughout the book. Even the peripheral characters are no less important in the book (even the daughter Mikael Blomkvist helps with the Bible references). Everyone in his book wants to control the others throughout in the series, including Erica Berger, the protagonist's best friend and boss, who is a powerful woman who controls all aspects of her own life and the men around her. Mikael Blomkvist's life is being controlled by Henrik Vanger who promises handsome financial and professional rewards if he gives one year of his life to Vanger (to investigate one past family incident).

Australian Flag Tattoo - Find the Best Possible Artwork

There are a lot of junk tattoo designs floating around on the internet and if you do a search in Google or yahoo for Australian flag tattoo design you are bound to find a few of them. But is this what you really want?

Personally when I am looking for a new tattoo design I want it to be original, something a little different that expresses my personality and it has to be of a high quality so that the tattoo artist has the best possible chance of creating something spectacular. If you have already come across some Australian Flag tattoo designs on the internet by using an image search or one of the search engines, go back and take another look.

I bet that they are probably of a low quality, which means that when the tattoo artist enlarges them they will become grainy and useless, or even if it is of a good quality you will find that the same design keeps coming up over and over again. This means that millions of other people have already seen and used this design. I don't know about you but I definitely wouldn't want something like that tattooed on me.

So should you give up on finding a great Australian flag tattoo sketch on the internet. Definitely not! All you have to do is become clever about where you look. First things first, stay away from the search engines. This is where everyone else goes and you wont find anything original or exciting there.

So where should you look?

Well it took me a while to figure this out, but the best place to find high quality, original artwork is in the tattoo forums on the internet. These places are the stomping ground for loads of professional tattoo artists, and many of them upload their latest designs to see what other forum users think of them. This means that you can gain access to the latest professional designs before anyone else in the world!

But wait, that's not even the best bit! If you go to their archive section you will find links to some of the best and most well hidden online tattoo art galleries. These places are literally bursting with awesome tattoo designs of every kind and they are constantly updated with fresh content. And the great thing is that none of the designs show up in the search engines so you can be sure you won't be getting the same thing as everyone else!

So if you are looking for that perfect Australian Flag tattoo, forget about using those search engines and get yourself over to the online tattoo art galleries and forums.

Butterfly Tattoos - Sexy and Feminine Butterfly Tattoo Designs For Women and Girls

Butterfly tattoo designs have always been a favorite among women and girls. It is definitely very feminine and girly at the same time. It can be pretty and symbolical without being overly design or sentimental. If done tastefully and artistically, it also has the capability to exude charm and sexiness in a woman. The butterfly has always been a favorite subject and inspiration in the visual arts so its no wonder that this creature always end up tattooed on a female's skin.

Butterfly tattoos is common choice for females looking to get tattooed the first time. For one, it does not need to be big to be bold and striking. It is beautiful and amazing on its own because of its wonderful hues and interesting details. Moreover, its meanings and symbolism are always parallel to what a woman is undergoing through in her life. Things like change, transformation, rebirth, freedom and new life are some common connotations of butterfly tattoos. The life process that a butterfly went through, that is emerging from an ugly cocoon to come out as this exquisite creature with colorful wings is one trait that a woman always admire about them.

A butterfly tattoo design is also very versatile and flexible as it looks great regardless of which part of the body they are inked. There was a time when tribal butterfly tattoos became really popular on the lower back of women that they end up being regarded as "tramp stamp". Nowadays, its not limited to that area anymore as women are trying to adorn other parts of their body such as the ankle, shoulder blade, arm, rib cage, back and wrist.

The butterfly can also be combined with other symbols to make them even more appealing. Aside from tribal art, it can also be blended with Celtic styles. It can also be mixed with other popular tattoo images such as flowers, stars, vines, fairies and angels. Of course, one is not limited to these symbols alone as there are lots of choices to explore. Just a little creativity and imagination is needed in order to come up with that perfect butterfly tattoo design that one would want to be tattooed on her forever.

How to Find Cultural Significance in Butterfly Tattoo Designs

If you ask a woman what tattoo she would like to get or what she already has, the answer you are most likely to get is butterflies. Many ladies like butterfly tattoo designs because they can personalize it to the way they want it to be and it is elegant and feminine. They can be of any size and just about anywhere on the body, so women tend to go for butterfly tattoo designs because they have such a variety to choose from and because they are so popular but in their own way.

These tattoo designs bespeak femininity. The butterfly is an insect, but in this case and theme people would classify it as a creature. This is a creature that can be whimsical, sexy and flirty. Well, this depends where on your body you would like to have the tattoo done and also how you would like the tattoo depicted.

Many people look at butterfly tattoos simply as a way of expressing themselves. It can also be some kind of embodiment of a certain cultural meaning. If you take the Greek for example, they believe that when a caterpillar sheds the cocoon and comes out as a butterfly, a human soul is released into the world.

Depending how you look at it, butterflies may symbolize birth, and a person having one on their body could be rediscovering herself and/or starting a new life. A perfect example is a new life with a new born baby, a new life being married, or a new life out of marriage.

In the Mexican and Japanese cultures butterflies and butterfly tattoos are a symbol of love, youth, grace and joy, and these are wonderful representations of life. Ancient people on the other hand viewed the butterfly insect as a symbol of a person's soul. Other cultures believed the butterfly being a spirit guide to a neverworld.

Despite the culture, these colorful insects are viewed as characteristic and magical of human imagination. This also applies to the butterfly tattoo designs of these creatures.

Choosing the right tattoo designs from the many butterfly tattoo designs can be a very tough task, because there are around 20,000 types in the world. Now all these are represented via ink, though, but there are quite a few butterfly designs floating around. The right tattoo will be there, and if you know what you are looking for then you don't have to look too hard. It is said that if there is enough importance behind the tattoo and it truly symbolizes something in your life, it will be looking out for you instead of you looking out for it.

Once you have been through all the butterfly tattoo designs and you have come across the perfect one, you have to decide if you want the tattoo seen or if you want it to be intimate. Your shoulder, ankle and lower back are perfect places if you want to show it off. If you want to keep it intimate, the best and perfect butterfly tattoo designs can be tattooed on the buttocks, along the bikini line or on the breasts.

Vampire bite Tattoos

There is quite an upsurge in the popularity of vampire and darker elements tattoos at the moment.

All the more reason to look out for a design that is that little bit different to those that have been made popular by the Goth and Emo cultures.

You could spend hours trawling around back street and even high street tattoo parlours looking for that elusive design but why waste your precious time?

Far better to take a look on the internet from the comfort of your own home or cave!

You'll be able to search out a customised design that'll wow others but more importantly yourself.

In order to get really unique designs to choose from, I recommend joining a tattoo gallery site on the web.

These are sites that you have to pay to join, as you're joining up as a member. But once you've joined (and they're not expensive), you have the benefits of browsing through unique, high quality designs at your leisure.

Just choose the one that's right for you and then you can download and print out the design ready to take to your favourite tattooist to get the job done.

Needless, to say, always go to a certified tattooist for health and safety reasons.

Vampire lovers obviously don't really mind blood, but you don't want it infected, do you?

So whether you're after a Nosferatu, Dracula or even an Elvira (only joking) make sure you get what you really really want when looking for that special vampire tattoo.

Get Your Ultimate Buddha Tattoo Designs

When one thinks of a tattoo with Buddha design, one would instantly think of the Buddha image. It is the most popular among Buddha designs, which connotes faith and loyalty to Buddha.

You can also find colorful cartoon versions, or the dancing and laughing Buddha. You can also look for designs depicting a lion, a begging bowl, Buddha footprints, an empty throne, or the Bodhi Tree (a significant symbol where Buddha accomplished enlightenment).

The traditional Thai Buddha design represents luck, wealth, and blessings.

Although there are various other Buddha tattoos that can be used for the design, still the Buddha image remains as the first choice. No matter how Buddha is represented in a tattoo design including his mood depictions or the colors of his clothes, those who follow the prince will always look at theaw tattoos as symbols of enlightenment, strength of character, and greatness.

Stomach Tattoo Ideas

Have you been crawling the internet, probably Google Images, to find stomach tattoo ideas or a number of other design ideas? Well if so, then I bet you have been finding a lot of the same examples of tattoos over and over, either that, or none that are really appealing enough to have permanently tattooed onto your body for life. I know that was the case for me, and it drove me nuts because I really wanted to find the perfect design that would not leave me feeling like I was settling for something less than I envisioned.

I do not think anyone should have to settle for their first or last tattoo even, this is why I am writing to inform you of a resource that will be of great help whether you are in need of unique stomach tattoo ideas or any other number of design ideas for all of your tattoo wants. The resource is a membership to one of the popular tattoo websites available.

By joining one of these membership websites, you will have the ability to browse thousands of creative tattoo ideas, tattoo videos, uploaded pictures of other members tattoo work, and even a directory of tattoo studios in 38 different countries; paying a onetime fee of around 30 dollars, will basically get you the Cadillac of tattoo experiences, for life.

If you cannot justify spending a few dollars on reducing the stress that accompanies finding awesome stomach tattoo ideas or any other tattoo design idea that you might want throughout the course of your life, then you can easily justify it by dividing the cost between you and a friend who can then both use the same membership to access the site you choose.

Whether you are searching for one tattoo or plan on maybe getting more later, a tattoo membership website is the best and most efficient choice you can make. The few sites that stand out amongst the pack are Tattoo-Me-Now, Tattoo My Brain, and Chopper-Tattoo. My personal favorite is Tattoo-Me-Now because of the amount of extra features they offer in addition to their stomach tattoo ideas and thousands of other designs, for a price that is not much higher than that of its competitors. Although their extra features are not completely necessary, they create the sense of a community, which I enjoy.

Peacock Tattoos - Getting to Know a Unique Design

Peacock tattoos, or sometimes, the peacock's feathers, have indeed become a very popular option when it comes to tattoo designs. Read on further for some information that you may not have encountered yet regarding this colorful bird's design origins:

* The peacock design of tattoos are most often represented in Asian and Middle East tattoo designs and are very popular because of its vibrant colors. However, in Europe, the peacock's feathers are regarded with high suspicion because of a fiasco in their ancient mythologies.

* The peacock feather, in ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt is a representation of the 'evil eye'. This is because of the general idea during that time that with the peacock feathers several 'eyes', it can see every single transgression that a person has done. This belief, is still prevailing today as several households in Europe will not permit that even a single peacock feather enter their household.

* The Christian faith on the other hand, has an entirely different take on the peacock and its feathers. Christians believe that the peacock feathers 'eyes' are the same of God's all seeing eyes. It also venerated the peacock as an incorruptible animal making it a sacred emblem for many who follow the Christian faith.

* Today, peacock tattoos symbolize immortality, a person's pure soul and resurrection. In china, the peacock is believed to represent the divinity and ranks of the gods and their ancestors. Peacocks are also later on symbolized as animals of royalty and has long meant the equivalent of an unbreakable oath.

* In these days, peacock designs are chosen mostly for their bright and vibrant colors as well as their symbolism. Because peacocks can also represent resurrection, these are also created into tattoos for a lot of personal reasons. People have peacock tattoos done in remembrance of a person or a loved one's death or a memory of that person's recovery from extreme illness. Peacock tattoos are also a great symbol for a specific turning point in a person's life. There are also a lot of people who prefer to incorporate this bird into Middle Eastern designs again, a remembrance to history that this particular race believed in the immortality and divinity of the peacock.

* For someone who does not want to get a huge peacock tattoo design and would rather opt for a smaller, more discreet design, it is always better to have a tattoo put in. after all, peacock feathers have as much symbolism on its own as the entire bird itself and it is by far easier to incorporate it onto an existing design or even as an addition to an existing tattoo. The peacock feathers are a smaller alternative to the peacock tattoo that can still be made to be big enough to add in more details I you so wish to do so.

* An important note that you must never forget is that you have to get a clear picture of the peacock tattoo design that you would want to be tattooed with. Be particular with the use of colors, if you want to.

Angel Tattoos - Popular Designs And Where To Get Them

Angel designs can have so many different meanings, and the designs themselves can look stunning because the tattoo artist can use color in the wings to great affect.

Popular Angel Tattoo Designs.

There are many popular angel designs which gives anyone looking for an angel tat a great variety of choice. One of the most popular designs at the moment is a pair of angel wings. They can be any size and located just about anywhere. The most common locations for wings are on the lower back or on the upper back and shoulder area.

Another favorite Angel tat design is of a beautiful woman in a dress with wings, quite often with a glow around her head. The angel could be looking downward in a protective manner, or another common position is sitting on the ground or a rock. Angel tattoos are also a popular way to pay tribute to someone who has passed away. The persons face is incorporated into the design, to keep their memory alive.

The designs can also represent a connection with a loved one, especially if a love heart is included in the body art with the angel.

It is also popular to combine the angel with a myriad of other other designs to come up with something completely new and unique. Common combinations are the angel with a heart, cross, or flowers to name a few. It really is up to you and your imagination.

The Meaning of Angel Tattoos.

The most common meanings of Angel tattoos are spirituality, love and protection. Wings represent freedom and rising above problems. Many tats are of floating angels, there to provide protection to something or someone. It is popular to get a guardian angel design, so that you always have a guardian angel with you. Another common theme is the perennial struggle between good and evil with Archangels in an eternal battle. Angel designs can also just represent a connection with something higher than oneself.

Where to get Angel Tattoos

The key thing to consider when getting an Angel tattoo design (or any design for that matter) is to make sure you are completely happy with it. The best approach is to check out as many designs as you can, to get ideas. It is not recommended to choose a free tattoo off the internet because the majority are low quality, and all are accessible to thousands of people. That means someone else will certainly have the same design as you. There is a better way to get a unique dream tattoo.
